Welcome to my new site!

Hello lovers and event holders! 
First of all, thank you for coming to my site and taking the time to look at my very first blog post as Knot Too Shabby Events. Writing blogs about weddings and events is not new to me though. I've been the manager at a beautiful event space in Downtown Wilmington, NC called The RiverRoom and a great place to work and expand my event planning skills. From there, I've been fortunate to provide day-of service for over 20 brides! Now, I'm doing the same thing but I've got a name and I'm able to come to you at any location! 

My goal with the new business venture is to continue to provide personal wedding planning. While I still work full time at The RiverRoom, I'm able to spend the rest of my time planning awesome events through Knot Too Shabby. This is a very exciting time for me because I've been wanting to do this for a while but it just takes a leap of faith and I jumped right in. With 18 brides on the calendar for 2014 so far, I couldn't be more thrilled to see where this all goes, bringing along some of the best couples around! 

I will use this blog to show you all sorts of things from previous wedding highlights, tips for the big day, my favorite things, upcoming wedding features and more. Stay tuned for more updates! I'll post my latest blogs on Facebook so follow me there! 

One other fun features of the blog will be a weekly Q & A post. Ask me your questions about the big day and I'll give you my honest and sincere answer! Send your questions to [email protected].
