Why aren’t your prices listed on your website?
Just like you don’t want your special day to be cookie-cutter, our services to you aren’t either. After years of being in the biz, KTSE knows how to tailor your custom quote to exactly what you will need based on the details of your day you describe in our getting-to-know-you consultation call. Just to give you a few examples of things we have to take into consideration when providing you your custom quote: 
  • Will the same event space be used for the ceremony and the reception, and therefore require a “flip”?
  • How many people will be in attendance? Remember for each guest in attendance, we’re considering their ceremony seat, their table place setting, their favors, the number of times we’ll wipe up the restrooms, the number of people we will help corral from one location to the next, and everything in between.
  • What details will you be including in your design? Want that 10,000 candle vibe? We have to place and light those. Want a formal place setting for dinner? We have to place and straighten and polish all 14 pieces of that place setting. Want to have a Cigar Roller, three bands, two dress changes, and some guest llamas to show up for cocktail hour? Each vendor we work with requires precise communications, expectations, and oversight to ensure your day is just as expected…. And all these things and many, many more are why we can’t tell you a price before we chat!
Does KTSE provide “Day-Of” Coordination?
So you think you need just Day-Of help and you plan to do everything else? We, too, remember when we thought we could provide quality service and ensure your day runs smoothly with “just day-of” involvement. But a professional wedding planner knows that “day-of” coordination is a fairy tale. To properly handle the logistics of your day and keep your head of hair intact prior to the wedding day, our minimum level of involvement is Wedding Management. With Wedding Management, we’ll set you up with the tools and tips for success and then “take the wheel” thirty days prior to your event - and believe us, you’re going to want to give up the wheel by then. Any “planner” who is selling their services and DOESN’T think they need to be involved prior to your event day will not be able to review and adjust your timeline and vendor contracts, be able to save you money by offering advice throughout the planning process, or be able to get to know you, your partner, and your VIPs. So, leave “day-of” coordination with the fire breathing dragons and magic beanstalks, but in exchange, know that you’ll actually get your “happily ever after”.
Will your proposal price include everything? Will it be the total amount owed?
We know weddings can be expensive. The price you agree to on your contract IS subject to change, but only if you decide to add services along the way and to pay for the KTSE staff that we will require event day. Since so many details will change between when you book and when you say, “I do”, we can’t predict the level of assistants that you will need that day. But rest assured, our recommendation of staff is why folks say things like “Melissa and her staff were like beer fairies any time someone broke a glass” (Lauryn Ricketts Google) or “Katelyn and her team were 10 steps ahead of everything all day long”. (Sara Kathryn FB) You and your partner having transparency in costs throughout the whole process is important to us and that’s why we provide you tools like a budget tracker, gratuity guide, and preferred vendor list, so you can comfortably plan the day of your dreams without any last-minute sticker shock.
​Why should I book KTSE if my event venue has a coordinator?
Well, the answer is in their title. A Venue Coordinator’s #1 client is the venue - not YOU! Not only will we ensure the details of your DAY are planned out including location changes, transportation to-and-from, and what your morning or evening will look like before-and-after the wedding, we’ll provide you advice throughout the planning process including etiquette, attire, ​and etc. 
What do we have to pay if we book KTSE?
Upon agreeing to contractual enter into business with KTSE, we will require a 10% deposit and a signed contract to secure your date. The remaining amount due will be split up into monthly payments. When you book with KTSE, you’ll get a customized online portal that will provide you payment reminders and invoices. You can conveniently pay online or you can mail a check to PO Box 1467, Wilmington, 28401.​
