On Sunday, March 13th, 2016, Thomas Manor twisted into spring with a wedding vendor soiree. We wanted to show the local vendors and brides-to-be this new, beautiful venue and what it has to offer. Thomas Manor is an elegant brick house located on the intracoastal waterway in Oak Island, NC with a gorgeous view. Knot Too Shabby Events designed and planned this lemontastic event utilizing the beautiful yard at Thomas Manor, creating a staged ceremony as well as a cocktail hour for all to enjoy. We hired two couples to help showcase the venue. Our models, Natalie & Heather, wore beautiful gowns and their husbands looked spiffy in the tuxes provided by Cape Fear Formal Wear. Tyler Kent did hair and makeup and gave the brides a stunning yet simplistic look. Brunswick Town Florist provided the flowers for the event and incorporated sliced lemons in the vases of the flowers for the tables. The flowers were full of pops of spring colors which accented the lemons. 3 Cheers Party Rentals brought in round tables dressed in white linen as well as cocktail tables dressed in white linen with light pink sashes tied in bows to give it that southern charm look. They also provided the white resin chairs for the staged ceremony and the bamboo arbor that gave the ceremony a little something extra. The arbor had two beautiful arrangements attached in the top corners, along with a sheer linen flowing in the wind. To add more character to the space, Dreammakers added Edison lights around the yard to finish off the southern twist look. To get even more creative, Vic’s Popcorn featured a popcorn bar with some of their tasty flavors. Coastal Catering + Events provided the perfect touch with the bacon maple pops and lobster mac and cheese, along with a mimosa bar. To top it off, we had a wide assortment of desserts provided by Carolina Cakes and Confection. VIP Limo traveled down to show off their brand new Mercedes Sprinter van. It sure was nice inside! While enjoying all the delicious food, Wall 2 Wall Entertainment provided easy-listening music along with a unique blow-up photo booth. indigosilver studios provided the photography while Ken Lehman Productions captured the moments of the bride and groom as well as the unforgettable moments from the soiree. Thank you to all of the spotlight vendors who made this event possible and for those of you who attended, it was great seeing you. We can't wait to work with you at Thomas Manor very soon!
