After a seemingly busy Winter, I was ready for Spring - sunshine, flowers, bright colors, and warm days. Spring reminds me of new life, new birth, and all that sweet stuff. My first Spring wedding was that for Sarah + Jud and it felt like spring to me! The mint green, use of birds, beautiful flowers, and mimosas on a gorgeous day all translated to the love that was in the air! I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah during our consultations and understanding her vision of a super fun, laid back but seemingly romantic wedding. On March 16th, 2014, Sarad + Jud said "I do" and was married on the beautiful riverfront deck at The RiverRoom overlooking the Cape Fear River. The ceremony was at 10:00am so set up began early but as our track record has proven Knot Too Shabby Events was on site to handle all of the details including managing the ceremony and reception later in the day. We used Etc. Party Rentals (we love them) for the mint green and canteen green linens, along with the large white wedding arbor with a hanging chandelier. The ceremony was sweet, simple and short. As guests looked on, Sarah walked down the aisle to the beat of her heart with her father to marry the man she loves. The brunch reception followed inside The RiverRoom with Middle of the Island Catering who are known for excellent service and delicious food. DJ Professionals & Video provided the DJ/MC service and kept their guests entertained and moving to the tunes of the music. Sarah + Jud dined on a delicious meal and tasty sweets with all of their loved ones and spent the early afternoon dancing to old classics and Top 40 hits. Sarah + Jud ended the reception a bubble send off while Billy Beach captured the images you see below with the exception of the top capture. Congratulations Sarah + Jud - Thank you for letting us be a small part of your special day! Click on images below to enlarge. Favorite Wedding Moment:
