What's the best way to one up Halloween? A wedding. Cheryl + Kevin tied the knot November 1st, 2015 at The RiverRoom. The day was nothing short of spooktacular. The steps on the deck were lined with large pumpkins with their wedding date on them and mini pumpkins were placed on the outdoor cocktail tables. More mini pumpkins and brass pumpkins lined the wooden rails on the deck. The chosen color scheme was purple, silver, black and of course, orange. There were two tall floral arrangements on pillars with curly willow branches and light orange hydrangeas on each side of Cheryl + Kevin at the altar. Floating candles lined the aisle with curly willow branches and orange hydrangeas in cylinders. The ladies spent the morning getting ready at the Hilton on the riverfront. They had their hair done by Cheryl's hometown hairstylist, Isabel, and Makeup by Amy Kennison. Around 3:00pm, Cheryl + Kevin had their first look at Greenfield Lake with photographer Ray Baca. Following the first look, the couple took pictures with the wedding party. They then headed to The RiverRoom for the ceremony. The ceremony started promptly at 4:45 on the deck overlooking the Cape Fear River. Cheryl walked down the aisle with a beautiful handmade broach bouquet. After the ceremony, guests were invited inside the venue for cocktail hour where Middle of The Island Catering had hors d'oeuvres prepared for everyone to enjoy. The tables had purple linens with personalized chocolate bars inside of black napkins on top of white china plates and silver chargers. The silver chiavari chairs were a great addition! The centerpieces alternated between floral centerpieces with curly willow branches and silver lanterns. Purple candles were dispersed around the room. There were dozens of pieces of beautiful spooktacular decor too. The sweetheart table had bride and groom skeleton candle holders on the table. The sweetheart table had an orange linen with a silver sequin overlay. There were little black skulls and black ravens on the tables. Spooky yet elegant! Middle of The Island Catering served an amazing buffet dinner at 5:50pm. Cheryl's maid of honor, Courtney, gave a toast as well as Kevin's best man, Carl. After everyone shared their laughs and tears, Cheryl + Kevin cut the cake. Then, they shared their good luck dance with all of their guests to open up the dance floor up. They danced the evening away, ending the night with a beautiful sparkler send-off before Cheryl + Kevin headed off in an Event Shuttle bus. Congratulations to you both! We loved being a part of your special day! We wish you many, many years of love and happiness! Click here to enlarge images below. Favorite Wedding Moment: Playing with all of Cheryl's wedding decor and finding a neat place for each item. On the wedding day, Cheryl dropped off boxes and boxes of decor, candles and spooky decorations. She told us just to put things where we thought it would look best. We love it when the bride gives us creative freedom. The wedding turned out better than we could have imaged! Vendors
